Why I picked it: "Back when I was still a child, I caught a glimpse of something wild." Bon Iver wrote this song like a memory you can almost touch — wide open, clean, and a little aching. The Blue Ridge Mountains aren't country in the traditional sense, but they're deeply American, deeply soulful, and so is this bar. Cool water and fresh air, like standing at the edge of a mountain stream with the wind coming off the ridge. Cold process soap made with essential oils, because some things should be as pure as the place that inspired them.
