Why I picked it: "You can't check the gators — they're nationally protected." This is my favorite candle in the whole collection, and honestly? This might be my favorite song. "Gators" is the modern-day Earl — a subtle, brilliant, best-friend anthem about a woman who's done. It reminds me of growing up listening to the Dixie Chicks, falling in love as a teenager, and realizing that sometimes the most powerful thing a woman can do is say nothing at all and let the swamp handle it. The girl best friend energy. The knowing look. The unspoken plan. That's Mary Nazi and me. This candle smells like deep woods, pine, and fir needle — woody, swampy, and a little dangerous. Just like the song.
