Growing up, we had a lilac bush right outside our very first family home. Every spring, my mom would pick lilacs and put them on the kitchen counter. That's it. That's the whole memory. And it's one of the most powerful ones I have.

Now, every time I see lilacs or lavender, I think of her. So I made this candle — and I make it available all year long, because if you're a mother, you already know: one day in May is not enough.
